Program
This comprehensive Type Rating course is designed to equipprovide pilots with the theoretical knowledge, procedural competence, and flight skills required to operate Airbus A320 series aircraft safely and effectively.
Phase

UPRT: AUPRTA REV3 (Upset Prevention and Recovery Training) Candidates begin with independent study to build foundational understanding of upset recovery techniques
Self-paced
This phase delivers critical aircraft systems knowledge through a blend of self-study (CBT) and instructor-led sessions.
95 hours
This stage introduces hands-on simulator training to develop handling skills.
44 hours
Focuses on scenario-based training simulating real airline operations.
6 hours
The final evaluation phase to assess overall proficiency.
Total FFS (Phases C+D+E): 36:00 hrs (this can be emphasized somehow, and separated from Phase E, as is the total of 3 phases)

With MCC: 48:00 hrs

Hands-on training in a real aircraft environment:

For candidates transitioning directly into line operations without aircraft base training.
